Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the main product, privacy, and account questions we expect from users and store reviewers.
Do I need an account to use StillPulse?
No. Free usage does not require an account. Sign-in is optional and is only needed for account-based Premium features such as cloud sync.
Does StillPulse write data to Health Connect?
No. StillPulse requests read-only access to heart-rate samples from Android Health Connect for optional Premium biofeedback sessions.
Where is my session history stored?
Free session history is stored locally on your device. Signed-in Premium users can also upload eligible session data to StillPulse cloud storage for sync and recovery purposes.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Local data stored on the device may be removed when the app is uninstalled or its storage is cleared. Signed-in Premium cloud data is separate and can remain until you delete the account.
How do subscriptions work?
Premium purchases are handled through Google Play. Managing billing, cancellation, and refunds happens through your Google Play account.
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
No. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Google Play as well.
How do I request data deletion?
Use the in-app delete-account flow if you can access the app, or email support@stillpulse.app. The detailed process is on the Data Deletion page.
Is StillPulse a medical app?
No. StillPulse is a wellness tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor medical conditions.
