StillPulse

FAQ

Clear answers about access, data, and subscriptions.

The essentials for using StillPulse safely and understanding what leaves the device.

Do I need an account?

No. Core breathing practice is available without an account. An account is needed for cloud features and some Premium synchronization.

Do I need a watch or Health Connect?

No. Every breathing session can continue without heart-rate data. Premium biofeedback can use one compatible source: the StillPulse companion on Wear OS 3+ or read-only heart-rate data available through Health Connect.

How does direct Wear OS heart rate work?

Prepare the session on the paired Android phone, open StillPulse on the watch, and press Start. The watch sensor runs only during the session you explicitly start and sends BPM samples to the phone. If the connection drops, the watch can keep a short-lived local buffer and deliver unconfirmed samples after reconnection.

Does StillPulse write to Health Connect?

No. Health Connect is an optional alternative source. StillPulse requests read-only access to heart rate and measurement time, and the permission can be withdrawn.

Is heart-rate data uploaded automatically?

No. No practice data is uploaded unless a signed-in Premium user explicitly enables cloud history sync. The disclosure lists session configuration and time, check-ins, goals and context, telemetry, heart rate, and derived biofeedback values.

How do I delete data?

Use the Privacy & Data center for local practice data, or Account for account and cloud deletion. Public instructions remain available on this website.

How do I cancel Premium?

Cancel the subscription in Google Play. Removing the app or deleting a StillPulse account does not cancel Google Play billing.

Is StillPulse medical software?

No. It is an adult wellness product and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, or emergency care.
